I'm trying to learn Spanish. One of the many things I'm using loads of things to help me including coffee-break-spanish which are great free podcasts you can download and Spanishdict which has free video lessons. Both have step-by-step instructions for speaking and understanding Spanish.

I thought I would try something a bit different and trial a bit of sofware called Weather Display. It's not the most straight forward piece of software you will ever use but don't be put off.

You don't need one of those weather stations to grab data, you can use data from a local airport metar. You can check out what I have managed to put together here

Here's a collection of pictures I've taken from days out just general stuff. I also keep alot of holiday pictures there. I know when I'm looking to book a holday one of the first things I do is try and find some pictures of the resort. This where I give a little payback and share for other people.

It's October the 29th and this is the first day of my efforts to stop smoking. Track my progress over the next three months on the graph which I'll update daily. I'm using a drug called Champix which you can get through the NHS stop smoking service. You keep smoking while you take the drug, the idea is that it reduces the craving. With luck you will see the number of cigarettes I smoke reduce from about day five. Stopped smoking on day 30. So far so good :/
